Habitat
Polytopic species occurring in different habitats dominated by bushes and trees. These include many rural settlements, urban areas and even centres of capital cities as well as in the extensively managed fields. However, the species also invades higher elevated sites along larger valleys within the Carpathians and adults may even be found up to 1300 m asl. at sunny slopes.
Abundance
The most frequent and abundant species of the genus in Slovakia, with regular distribution outside cooler areas in higher altitudes.
