Habitat
It is mainly found in grasslands and meadows that are unmanaged or extensively cut. It is absent from woody habitats and riparian bare ground. It occurs along wide altitudinal gradient, between 100 and 1600 m asl.
Abundance
Early species, in „plague“ years can occur in high abundances, otherwise relatively seldom and fragmented distribution in entire Slovakia.
