Habitat
The most important habitats are wet grasslands and hay meadows, peat bogs, less pastures in mountains and basins between 400 and 2000 m asl. Low-impact grazing seems to be beneficial to this species.
Abundance
Frequent, but less abundant species, only in mountains. Macropterous individuals can be rarely found in higher altitudes in Slovakia.
