Habitat
Its habitats are typically grass-and herb-dominated warm and dry meadows, steppe habitats and ruderal vegetation, mostly in Pannonian region ujp to 500 m asl, less in Carpathians up to 1000 m asl.
Abundance
Frequent and abundant Euchorthippus species, with regular distribution in S Slovakia, in some sites the dominant grasshopper species.
