Habitat
The species prefers wetlands, but also colonizes dry grasslands, ruderal vegetation, forb communities and wasteland (what is not the case of C. dorsalis). Is confined to stands of tall grasses and herbs; up to 800 m asl.
Abundance
Frequent and abundant species, more than relative C. dorsalis.
