Habitat
The species occupies a wide range of habitats (<1600 m asl) and has a requirement for a certain amount of bare ground and tree cover. Many records are from forest edges, clear-cuts and inside open forests or clearings.
Abundance
Less frequent and abundant Chorthippus species, with regular distribution of Slovakia.
