Habitat
The species is mainly found in steppe habitats, dry sheltered fallow land and dry sheltered meadows mostly up to 800 m asl, but mainly in the mountain sites requires sunny slopes and certain amount of bare ground.
Abundance
One of our most frequent and abundant grasshopper species, with regular distribution in Slovakia.
