Habitat
This well flying species inhabits dry habitats with a mosaic of short, not too dense vegetation and bare soil up to 1900 m asl. It is regularly found in ruderal areas, in sand and gravel pits or quarries as well as on stony ground along roads, in dry and/or extensively cultivated grassland.
Abundance
One of our most frequent and abundant grasshopper species, with regular distribution in Slovakia.
