Habitat
The main habitats of the species are grassland steppes, dry margins of herbaceous vegetation and fallow arable fields with dense vegetation. Important features of all habitats are a warm and dry climate and well-structured vegetation within wide altitudinal gradient (up to 2000 m asl).
Abundance
The frequent and abundant species, in some habitats dominating within the bush-crickets. Macropterous individuals can be rarely found in higher altitudes in Slovakia.
